Good Monday morning everyone, 

''THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE!'' Yes, I am listening to Girl on fire by Alicia Keys and honestly every time I listen to this song it makes me dream on having a beautiful voice like hers. 

Or to have a beautiful voice like that and made that song and become famous.

Yeah that sounds a tad better doesn't it?

Anyways, so another beautiful weekend has passed! Seriously last weekend felt like a bit of summer coming back and let me tell you I was busy!

I had a fashion editorial shoot on Saturday morning for my half year expo (In which I'm super excited about but super nervous because I hope JUST HOPE my photos will look nice and people will like them!) 

And my photoshoot was awesome just sayinnnnnnnnnnn! Seriously, my two really good friends helped me out! Sabrina in which she was the makeup artist AND model(I love the shoot because it made her look a little like an Grease character in a way and suited her really nice) and Cinzia which was the hair stylist and in some ways my assistant in which she gave me cool ideas and helped me out with the set!

I only had time to shoot for an hour but I got really good shots and I'm super happy about the photos, I literally spent my whole saturday night editing so I could post them on FB. (I'm such a girl I know.) I think what made the shoot worth wild tho was working with amazing people, and really close friends. We gather and make beautiful fashion art and just enjoy our moments and time goes by fast, and it's fun and I absolutely will put this shoot in my top 10 so far. 

Considering I haven't done that many photoshoots you know what I mean!

So after that.. , Well honestly I don't even remember what I did. Oh yeah.. I edited edited edited, and then had a nice dinner party with my boyfriend and his friend and girlfriend in which ended up in a frisbee game in which I totally suck at playing.

There's something about that object(Frisbee of course(I don't even know if it's spelt like that) ) that I just can't seem to throw properly. And again, is it even called ''throwing a frisbee'' or is it ''Glide a frisbee'' 

I don't even know...

Note to self: Google the sport of frisbee and find out what is the proper word for ''throwing a frisbee''.

And then Sunday morning I met up with my love to Starbucks for a nice morning coffee and went to the biodome! SICKKK I KNOW! (In case you don't know what the biodome is, it's like a zoo but indoors and you walk through the exhibits, and monkeys can fall on you and stuff, it's really cool!) And then ended the night going out to Montreal with two friends to go celebrate the last day of the Italy Festival in Montreal! 

So yeah I had a very exciting weekend, and it does feel good to relax a bit and enjoy the next two days before getting back to school and all!

Working with passion

Good Monday morning everyone,

Yes Monday, what a beautiful day of the week, the best day of the week! NOT.

Okay well I shouldn't be complaining too much on Mondays because usually it is a pretty relaxing day for me. Waking up, having a cup of coffee and getting my week organized with my photography and finding new inspirations, going to appointments etc etc. So yeah I really shouldn't be complaining but still... It's Monday and Monday is always a tiring get back to the usual kind of day!

My weekend consisted on having a fun photoshoot with a good friend I haven't seen in forever! In which she is a makeup artist and we were having a fun photoshoot while talking about future projects in the next few weeks about fashion photography, and then to end the day we went to the Keg for a few drinks with another good friend and enjoyed the night! 

And then well Sunday my boyfriend and I went to the zoo, in which I was so excited I could barely stand still and I was literally running from animal to animal snapping pictures and acting like a little child! 

So you could say I had a great weekend! 

And now my vacation time has officially come to an end as I go back to college this wednesday(I'm so excited to go back honestly it felt good to be on vacation but I'm just eager to get back and learn new things!) And to start getting back into the studio will feel good! And as you read a little earlier about talking to my friend about upcoming projects, well it's all starting this week as we speak! I'm finding inspirations today and sending them to her, and hopefully tomorrow I can go pick up the clothes and such and start planning the photoshoot! I'm not saying too much right now but it's going to be a fun editorial kind of fashion shoot and I'm just so excited to shoot so I'm going to make this photoshoot a great one!

The other good thing and why I am so excited for this upcoming project is because I'm working with her and another great friend and it will feel good to be all three of us, working together and just having a fabulous fun time! It's always better and funner working with really great friends and not just working, but doing my passion!

Because face it, my fashion photography isn't really work(well technically yes it is my job, my career) but I love it so much and it's my passion that it doesn't even seem like a job. And I think that's one of the most important things in life, to have a career in which you love. To wake up in the mornings and be excited to go to work instead of being sick of your work. 

And that's why I'm turning my passion into my career and I will never regret my decision, even if I end up poor, I will be rich because I will be happy with my career and proud!

So yeah, either way I win in happiness! :)

Let go and be young again

Well GOOD THURSDAY MORNING DUDES!

Just two tiny days before the weekend, we can do it! Well technically I am still on vacation, but to be honest I don't feel like on vacation due to the fact that I've been having a pretty busy week with trying to get my name out, going to a interview, getting my business cards made(In which they should be at my door either today or tomorrow!) and a bunch of other things like that.

So yes I am quite excited for the weekend, in which I will be spending Saturday with a lovely friend talking about an upcoming fashion shoot and then going out to go dance for the night! Being so busy with photography, I haven't really had the time to actually go out and dance etc so hey why not go out for a night with close friends and just have fun? I feel like an old granny who goes to bed at 9 and wakes up at 5 every morning with a daily routine so I think it's time for my 18 year old body to actually feel 18 and go out and enjoy a good night out!

I find some people just grow old too fast and try to mature faster than they really are and only think of work. Which is my major problem... A side from eating messy at the restaurant...
We won't get into the restaurant part, although let's just say I should consider taking proper eating classes because whenever I go to the restaurant I feel like a pig with food all over my face.. And honestly I don't even know how I manage to get dirty and eat sloppy it must be just... A fact of my little life.

ANYWAYS, all that to say that if you are like me, YOU ARE TOO YOUNG TO WORRY ABOUT WORK 94-7 RIGHT NOW, GO OUT HAVE FUN BE A TEENAGER OR YOUNG ADULT WHATEVER YOU ARE AND HAVE FUN. Because if you don't you will kind of truly regret it when you hit 50(no offence to the 50 year olds I'm just speaking hypothetically). 

So September is now almost here! Okay well it's only the 8th but September is still coming up and I'm pretty stoked because in a month it will be Montreal Fashion week(In which I'm begging to be able to go) and then in two months it's my birthday(In which I feel like I've been 18 for over a decade) and that fall is coming which means FALL FASHION! (In which I totally just bought the cutest fall jacket at Winners and now I need to think about getting fall boots or something to match it.) So yes, maybe this summer wasn't the best(Temperature wise) But I'm sure this fall will be a lot better.

Speaking of which August 30th, if you live in Laval or Montreal area, there will be an AMAZING store opening up! (Well technically 3, one in Carrefour Laval, one in Fairview and Eaton Centre in Montreal) And it is called Aritzia, in which is my FAVOURITE store in the whole wide world! I still remember the first time I went at the fairview mall in Kitchener with my grandma and she got me the cutest tank top ever! 
Basically Aritzia is a clothing boutique based in Vancouver and the clothes sold in their stores are their own brands! Isn't that cool?!!! And what's even cooler about it is that every store is different with different decor etc. 
So be sure to mark it down in your agendas ladies(I'm saying ladies because it is an only girl clothing store but hey dudes, feel free to also stop by and buy something for your honeys hey hey ;) )
I sure will be there on opening day, and buying a couple of things, speaking which they have the best leggings ever! TNA leggings, honestly they last forever and they are SO COMFTY! 

Anyways, here is an auto-portrait I took of myself during this week. All this week I've been dying to get back into photography but everyone was busy so why not do an auto-portrait instead right?! 
I like this picture and especially in black and white. I also love the way my face is hidden which gives it a little fashion style and artsy side to it. The whole idea of hiding my face in this picture is because I feel hidden from the world. Like if I'm there and trying to get my name out, but sadly I'm still hidden away in this huge world. It also gives a touch of sensuality and sexiness with the cute satin robe giving it the typical sophisticated lady wear, waking up in the morning with nothing but a nice Victoria's Secret satin robe with soft skin. 
HMM dreamy eh?

Getting back to work!

Hey dudes!!


Well I'm back from Vacation! Ok technically I still have another week off and I don't start school until the 14th but I feel like I'm back and vacation time is over!
Well I did go to my dads cottage with my boyfriend for 2 weeks so I guess that was my ''vacation moment'' if you want.
ANYWAYS that was a pointless little paragraph to just say that I'M BACK HOME AND STARTING UP WORK AGAIN!
Yes started yesterday actually as I went to the FMD(Fête de la Mode et Design) ((Montreal fashion festival)) to take pictures, and to give my business cards out to try and get my name out there!

FACT. My business cards were really lame and looked really stupid that I was highly embarrassed I decided to redo my cards. (in which I did this morning and they should arrive thursday I'm super excited! ( AND they're super cute! Seriously CUTE!)

Okay back to the FMD! It was so much fun and I loved the shows (even if it rained a little). Also I got to talk to some pretty interesting people and got to know a little more about the fashion industry! I love going to events like this because every time I go I feel so fashion passionate and I remember how being a fashion photographer and working in fashion is my long time dream! Being a part of this weird, complicated, stressful-But feels so amazing industry makes me want more and more! And I'm well aware it's hard to start off in it, but I'm excited for the climb up towards the top!


So as you can probably suspect I had a pretty awesome day yesterday! ;)
And well for today.....well is my boyfriends birthday! So I guess today is a pretty awesome day also!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE! I LOVE YOU!!
I will be taking him to the Keg for a nice steak dinner and I'm literally counting down the hours for dinner because on how excited I am!!!!
Cute eh, I know I know!
And also because I'm hungry. Really hungry and I don't want to eat and spoil my dinner...
So not so romantic anymore hahaha!

Anyways, this week I am re planning my career a bit and getting things more organized for school! As to today I got my cards done, tomorrow I have a hair appointment and then heading to Starbucks to re write all my class notes in a notebook, getting my agenda clear and organize and then wednesday I have an interview with Aritzia(So excited by the way!) and then thursday and friday(I don't exactly know what I'm doing so far but I will find something good to do about photography!).

It was fun being on vacation, but it honestly feels so good to be back and starting all new and energized again! And I'm excited to get back to school!

Vacation time

Hey dudes,

So as you might know I am on vacation(well obviously because if you have been following my facebook page you would see no posts and if you follow my instagram you would receive a bunch of beach photos having a blast!) 
So if it hadn't clicked yet for you well here it is: I am on Vacation. Yes maam, yes sir! And I am loving it!

Well who wouldn't?! I'm currently spending two weeks at my fathers with my boyfriend spending days at the beach, enjoying the sun being carefree and relaxing! 
A part from eating loads of junkfood because it seems in this town all they know about cuisine is deep fried and when we decided to go for brunch at the harbour (omg it took me a while before I wrote down harbour, I totally forgot how to spell and say it!) well it included bacon, eggs and a deep fried potato. No fruit. HMMMMM. So clearly I will be gaining a few pounds but thanks to running in the mornings, swimming and wakeboarding, I might keep a decent figure for when I go back home! Which is next thursday! Sniff sniff, I would love to stay there all summer and just not care about the real world but truth is I need to go back home, get things organized and GET HOME FOR MONTREAL FASHION WEEK! 

Yeah I'm super stoked on the fact of being invited again! VIP tickets for the whole August 3rd day! Which is also the closing day for Montreal fashion festival! 

So yeah other than that I hope you guys are all having a fabulous summer so far! And if so a great vacation! My favourite day was last week, we spent the day at the beach relaxing and cuddling and after for dinner went to get some takeout sushi from this local sushi restaurant and went on the main beach with a towel, a bottle of fermented Tea(apparently super healthy and helps get this.. WEIGHTLOSS) and our cuddly selves, watching the lake(Or as my boyfriend recalls, the Ocean) and then going for ice cream and heading back to another beach to watch the sunset! 

CAN I SAY ROMANTIC?! Oh my it was! 
Like those movies(well at least that's how I felt, not sure for him considering girls have their heads full of movie scenes and try and make the best of it) It was awesome omg yeah wooohoo.

So proud

Hey dudes,

So I can NOT WAIT to be on vacation starting tomorrow afternoon when I finish my Photoshop exam! Yes three weeks off and half of it I will be on a beach back in Ontario having some drink relaxing and having a break from the world!

Dreamy I know. This is the first summer in which I have school and that I have to stay in the city and let me tell you it's HARD! 
Very hard, especially knowing half of your friends are gone to Whistler and you see photos from them via Instagram and FB... -___- But oh well, I'm happy because I'm studying my passion and plus I get to graduate early.


But I don't know if I'm excited to graduate or not. I mean sure I am, I'm sick of school and everything but I'm kind of scared of finishing school and be out in the real world, trying to get contracts, and living the life of an adult. I guess I am already an adult I'm only 18 but I live in an apartment, I have my own life and I'm mature for my age but still you know what I mean!

I'm scared that once I finish I won't know where to go even tho I will kind of have a path. But I guess that's just my nervousness that is sort of acting out and I know I'm not the only one who is feeling the same way. 

Anyways a part from a little worry(which is totally normal for me because I worry and stress all the time) life is pretty good and OMG I went to a pedicure and manicure at the cutest nail salon in Laval! Yessssss! Thanks to Efashionista, I went for a little pampering before my vacation and it felt so good! Pretty pink nails! 


So girly I know but I believe every lady needs a little girl time(even the most boyish women) it makes us feel special in a weird kind of way. Just like watching Gossip Girl or Sex and the city. We become all girly and that's what we need!

So I went and enjoyed it(even tho the pedicure tickled and I wanted to basically die when she passed the big file thingy on my feet). In case you didn't know I use to be the boyish girl ever, literally I use to wear boy shorts, caps and ugly over size T-shirts. 
It's funny how people change style so drastic and fast!

I like my new style, I'm slowly become the sophisticated lady look, and I'm soon going to get a pearl necklace and earrings(The ones I want are at Winners and every time I go I never buy them cause I can't afford it but I promise and assure you one day I will) it's just a matter of time! 

Anyways this is a bla bla blog but hey it's cool it's cool!

Anyways FINALLY! I have posted the photos from the semi finalist model from the FACE by Coco Rocha! Yes the photos I have been dying to post because I'm so proud of them and happy that I have had an amazing chance to meet an amazing young lady! She has an amazing friendly personality and I know she will go far in the modelling business. She is beautiful, tall, stunning, and friendly and she was by far my favourite model I have ever photographed and I hope maybe one day I will have the chance to photograph her again!

Just some mumbles

Hey dudes,

So I guess the intense summer heat and nice weather finally started! I can now actually tan and try and get some colour through my pale skin. 
Well last weekend helped considering I went to my boyfriends uncles cottage in which I tried wake surfing for the first time EVER.
It's fun, a part from the wearing a helmet that made me look like a bug and a life vest twice the normal size it was a lot of fun. 
(Bug looking is the new sexy, try it girls guys will dig it)

But hey, it was a work out and I felt quite energized because I missed being out on the water, and being away from the city for a couple of days felt so good. Really did, and now in two weeks (the 19th to be precise) I will be on vacation for 3 weeks and let me just tell you I need it!

Sure I love school but just the fact that this course is so intense and I have no break and I'm use to having my whole summers off just makes it a little harder for me to get through. 
But hey I graduate in less than a year so again I shouldn't be complaining! 

ANYWAYS a part from the subject, I hope you are all having a great week so far, I'm just chilling trying to get some homework done and start trying to organize a few things for school.

PS. It's so not working, proof I decided to give up and write a blog instead. Scratch that, I didn't even give up what I started cause I didn't even start it yet. But I guess that was quite irrelevant and I can just make myself believe I actually started doing some work....

FACT.

But yeah so far I've had a good week, yesterday I stayed in bed t'il like 11 and then cleaned some of my apartment and read and went to my boyfriends to go couch shopping... But hey it wasn't that much of a lazy I did nothing kind of day, I needed it and besides last night I went out to dinner with a good friend so I GUESS IT WASN'T THAT MUCH OF A LAZY DAY!

Speaking of dinner, I have found my new favourite restaurant. The Keg, but not any Keg, THE KEG from LAVAL. Yes people, you should all go I swear you walk in and you feel like your'e a celebrity, in a matter of fact I sat at the table on front of GSP (George Saint-Pierre) which was pretty cool even if I don't even watch UFC or any of that I felt cool ;)

And the food. Yeah so I'm not much of a steak person but lately meat has been overflowing my body and I've started being obsessed with it. So let's just say a yummy teriyaki steak with veggies and mashed potatoes and a good mango cocktail just totally hit the spot. 

And being with by far one of the closest friends I have just talking about whatever just really felt good.

We all need nice dinners like that once in a while, go out have a nice dinner, talk, relax, feel special and now I totally understand why celebrities like to go out to fancy restaurants with friends for a good meal. (Okay well they do it all the time, and probably half the time they don't even realize it, and they just go to eat but I like to believe that they go to have a good time, to relax and have fun with friends.)


This blog so far has nothing really interesting I'm sorry I'm totally just mumbleling (I have no clue if that word exists) away talking as I write. 

OH one thing I'm excited for is my manicure and pedicure at this really cool nail salon in Laval next monday! Ok so it's a girls thing to go get pampered once in a while and this place looks really cool! And really not expensive, besides, my feet are dying and they're getting gross and I haven't been for a pedicure in 2 years(oh my I know) so I guess I deserve it especially as I'm going on vacation next friday so my feet will look super sexy! 


Hahahaha, okok I'm done talking about literally nothing, but here are the photos from my last studio shoot which was last friday. I wanted to create a party themed fashion shoot in which I did all the styling, makeup etc. I was in need to create a big concept for a shoot because I can't stop watching videos of fashion photographers and sadly I don't have the money to afford a big crew and I'm not well known yet to get fashion contracts yet so I kind of have to do all by myself, but hey it's fun and when it's a passion to do something, you do it all the way and have  fun doing it!
