Just chillin at PRFO oh yeah, like a villain.

Hey dudes!

So Thursday was awesome gotta say! Probably one of the best days of my summer so far!
Ok. Started off a little boring by me cleaning around the house and packing my suitcase to go over to my dads but then as soon as I left to go to Saint-Sauveur things got a lot more sweeter!
Hung out with my good buddy and chilled around but mostly at PRFO boardshop.
Now if you guys have me on facebook you will probably realize I'm almost always there considering I check myself at PRFO like 94/7.
It's a cool boardshop what can I say! The guys are chill, we fool around and I feel somewhat loved when I go there!
Plus that's where they hold the Ghetto Thursday, and who would want to miss that?!!
It's a great opportunity to go take some awesome pictures and mingle with your clients! When I say mingle it means get to know them better and to create a name!
It's kind of crazy cause I had such a great time taking pictures I wish I could just become professional right away and go off taking pictures in the world of skateboarding and snowboarding hahahaha!
One day one day dudes!

Anyhow today is my dads birthday and I flew down to visit him for the week so better let you guys go!
Here are some pictures of Ghetto Thursday!
Enjoy,

Just live and forget

Hey dudes!

How's your summer so far? I hope it's good cause summer is soon a wrap up and we all go back to doing whatever we were doing!
For me summer has been............interesting.
I mean it's not completly over so I can't really conclued my summer but right now I'm kind of fed up with it and is ready to go back to college, finish my session and then go to university and really start my career in photography!
So after some really bad events who have happened in which I can NOT WAIT for it to just stop. And that people would just let it go and just move on to let me move on and live, I'm kind of tangled up and need a breather! So tomorrow I'm leaving for my dads place in Port Elgin to go spend a good week there with awesome people, wakeboarding and a whole lot more!
I'm kind of excited the only reason why I'm waiting so long to go is because I need to take pictures for the ghetto thursday tonight which I'm really excited considering they give out free hot dogs and the people there are awesome!

So anyways, to be honest I just can't wait for winter. What can I say?! I'm a winter girl! Hopefully I will be riding everyday, taking pictures and loving it! Something about winter just amazes me. Either it's the snow just gently falling down on a nice wintery night or when you wake up in the morning look out the window and there's a huge snowstorm and you know the hills gonna be awesome and full of powder!
It's also a very romantic season, cuddling close to fires, going ice skating in downtown Montreal with all the pretty lights and even just walking while the gentle snowflakes fall down.

I'm pretty excited let me tell you! Hahahaha!

But in the mean while I'm just holding on to now and thinking about shredding everyday!
Who knows it might come sooner than you think! :P

Anyways here are some pictures I took the other day with my true good buddies. Now these dudes have been amazing to me, so nice chill really good friends. I would not want to loose them as friends that's for sure!
They will always be there for me as I will always be there for them, and besides together we are a blast and even though we chill and have nothing to do, we always have fun doing nothing!

Enjoy,

Life's too short

Hey guys, hope everythings good with you guys!

Lets think of something I have on my mind from a tragedy that happened last night.
Life.
Personally I think life is too short. It's too short for being sad, mad and all those negative feelings. Life's made to be happy, to go hard on what you do and to take some risks.
Obviously you are going to make mistakes and do stupid things but that's how you learn... (learn from your mistakes to be a better person)
Everyone makes mistakes, so don't think you don't do any :P hahaha I know it's hard to admit but it's true.
That's why second chances exist! I usually give 3 chances to everyone I meet, cause they always tend to do 3 mistakes and then stop. XD But that's me hehehehe.
I really don't know why I put the XD and the hehehehe at the end of my sentence cause I'm not even laughing or in a good mood....
Yeah like I said, something bad happened yesterday night. A friend who I use to talk to, that I stopped keeping contact with a year ago just commited suicide.
Now I know we weren't close and all, but god it hurt to hear about it last night. I cried and didin't sleep at all.
A part of me made me upset because I kept telling myself that we would probably get back in touch when I go attend university next year, but now I guess we won't. And it hurts because I really did enjoy her companionship when we were close.
I think suicide is 100% preventable. I mean you can see it in their eyes, feel it when you are around someone who wants to commit it. I think it's sad that no one really realized it with her.... She could still be breathing.
But life is life, and I'm not trying to bring you guys down I'm just explaining that life is too short to be able to be sad and feel like crap at times. You just have to keep your head straight and just plow through all the bad things, and learn to forgive. The picture I have here is a flower. It's one of those daisys you pull the petals off saying « you love me, you love me not... » I think the petals mean life, every petal means something important for each of you. take care of those petals because they're your life and life is amazing.

Enjoy,

Camp of Champions 2012

Long time to talk!

Hahaha, yes last week I was off to Whistler for Camp of Champions!
It was an amazing trip, made sooo many friends and had a blast.
It really felt good to leave Quebec for a while and find myself in my paradise land riding everyday and taking some pretty gnarly shots.
I don't know if you're a boarder, but if you are you know exactly how it feels when you get up on the glacier in the middle of summer to go shred. It's an insane feeling and I wish I could go back and relive my week over and over!

I also realized how much passion I have for snowboarding and skateboarding. I may really suck at skateboarding but just watching these guys rip through the ramp and get to photograph amazing people like that makes me go insane!

One day I will live in Whistler, board, take pictures of events and pros and finally be in a place I can call home! But for now I must content myself with the awesome week I just had and for this winter.

Here are some pictures I took during Camp of Champions,
Enjoy

Fighting against death

Hey dudes!

Long time no talk, things have been a littttttttttle hard on me lately!
I was terribly sick.... And when I mean terribly sick I mean like I was puking 5 hours straight home alone.
And you know when you puke everything out and there's nothing left to puke but the air inside your body...
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Hahaha, and probably the worst part was being alone, with my mom gone to work I was alone and it SUCKED. Thought I did have a nice friend come over and take care of me which was really nice of him!

Other than that, I guess nothing much is going on... I was in bed dying and well now I feel a little bit better. Yesterday I FINALLY managed to get out of the house and go up north to take pictures of Ghetto Thursday#2 at PRFO. It was nice to finally get out of the house and just breathe. Like legit, breathe nice fresh air......

But as soon as I got home last night OUFF. I started feeling a little weak again, and this morning I feel a little sick but I will survive! I have to survive due to the fact that I'm leaving for Whistler Sunday morning for Camp of Champions!
I'm so excited it's going to be soooo much fun! Plus I needed the break, things aren't going too well down here I'm discovering some new aspects about life and how people can really hate on you for no reason but oh well, once again life is hard and when you are alone and people start plotting against you trying to make you feel like crap all you have to do is kind of let the flow go and just not do anything until something comes  up!

Anyways, here are some pictures of Ghetto Thursday #2 I took yesterday,
I have to go take a little nap and continue my packing!! :D
Enjoy,

International Skateboarding Day! (ISD)

Hey dudes!

I hope you guys had a chance to go skateboarding or atleast longboarding yesterday due to the fact it was INTERNATIONAL SKATEBOARDING DAY!
I sure did!! Almost landed my ollie hahah, I guess when I'm up at Whistler (btw in only 8 days) I will def learn it hahaha!

So Yesterday it was like 45 degrees -__- . I woke up sweating and it was pretty gross, yes poor me I don't have AC and I don't even have a pool. So I woke up, packed my bags/camera and went up to Tremblant to go swimming in a nice lake and relaxe. It felt so good! Just to be away from the world a day, in total nature taking some pretty cool shots and just enjoying life!

And then it was time for me to head over to Saint-Sauveur for the first Ghetto Thursdays at PRFO! What better day to start this awesome skate jam than today!! The skaters there were all super nice, enjoyed a free BBQ, drinks and the atmosphere was amazing!

It's days like theses you just feel alive again, you're with friends, you just enjoy life and don't think about all the little worries. Plus it's summer so you feel even more alive! I mean like it's hot everyones in shorts etc. it just seems like summer is a way to get back on track!

Anyways, here are some photos of yesterday
 Enjoy :)

You have to stay alive

« You have to stay alive to see how the story ends. » One of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite movies called My Sassy Girl.
Yes it's a romantic chick flic say whatever you want it has a great moral to the story and that's why it's probably in my top ten.
Geez guys you really are starting to know me, and discover new things about me! Hahahaha!

Why did I start off with this quote? Because I think of it everytime I feel a little blue, and things don't go too well in my life. Either it's a simple down day, or just things are messing with me I just stand there, take a breather and just whisper the quote.
Cause it's true! No matter how bad life gets, you can't just give up! Either it's a heartbreak and you miss someone terribly and you know you can't do anything about it and just wait until something changes, or if it's trying to get your life straight but hurdles keep pouncing at you... etc. etc. You just can't give up.

You know I'm not feeling completly stable lately. Like I miss my old house and I miss how my summers use to be and I miss my old friends. Saddly I can't go back in time and relive my summers, so I just move forward. Not everything has to be the usual, or as I can say it, a tradition... Sometimes new traditions replace old ones and they become better.

Some people may not want to talk about their feelings when they feel blue, but that's something those people should change. Because you get all choked up, and in the end you ruin a relationship with your friends, loved ones, etc. To stay alive, is to talk about your feelings so that people can help you. Don't have to go off telling random people, but as long as you tell your close ones atleast then you can get advice and fix yourself.

So from my downy days I've been having it was time for me to get out to the city for the day with a friend and just relax, take pictures and just not think about the problems! It was nice, really hot out, but nice! We walked all over Montreal, took some pictures, talked, had some Starbucks it was great!

It really felt good and right now I may still be a little down but atleast I feel a lot better than what I felt like the day before! Sometimes that's all what you need!

Anyways here are some photographs I took, the rest are on my FB page
Enjoy,
