Hey dudes!
So I hope everyone is having a splendid week, I just survived 6 hours of photoshop Lightroom so my eyes are kind of bulging out of my sockets but you know, what would you not do for your passion right?!
I love it even tho sometimes it can be a hassle, following your dreams is a total hassle itself but I'm crazy enough to do it so!
Oh and there's a storm right now. Okay well again I don't know if it's actually storming right now but last time I was outside it was snowing pretty bad... Now I'm like snuggled in bed with all blinds shut with my little Feng Shui (I really don't know if that's how you spell it but you know what I mean) floor lamp and a bowl of pop corn beside me.
So basically I was there reading an article in NY Times and that's when a sudden flash back started creeping my mind. The past, and thoughts about how I got this far.
Like I mean I've met so many people in my whole life that all they wanted to do was try and make everyone else happy and not be themselves and try to be liked by everyone.
I actually looked up to people like that creating a whole new self thinking to myself people will like me if I do right cautious decisions about life and that I have a right group of perfect friends, a perfect boyfriend, a nice steady lifestyle.
But seriously in their minds it was like out of those episodes of desperate house wives. Practically!
I mean I knew so many people during my years of high school who thought the perfect life was what your parents intended you to have; School, college, get married, good steady job, kids etc.
So basically those people grew their lives without thinking of what they really wanted to do.
I'm going to ask you all this simple question: What do you want to be?
A doctor, a musician, a teacher?! ANYTHING. Just what did you intentionally always wanted to become?
Whatever you wanted to become should still be the thing you should become. Why? Cause it's you. Only you, because people deserve to be themselves and feel loved by who they want to be.
So what if you're 35 and you are working at some office that you hate! You wanted to become a teacher and teach a bunch of kids a certain subject that you love?! GO FOR IT!
I remember reading a poem explaining how age doesn't matter(I honestly did read a poem about it but I really don't remember by who it was and when I read it, Clearly I have bad memory skills).
What I'm trying to say is that the whole reason why you came to this world was to not follow everyone else and blend in and just be liked by everyone and do everything people want you to do.
The reason you came to this world is to be yourself and show the world something extraordinary and be proud and to stand out.
By standing out and doing what you actually want to be, or being who you really are is when you will meet the most amazing people and the people who truly love you and cherish for you.
There's always time to change who you are and to become who you really want to be. Now I know this is corny but it's true, you need to believe in yourself in order to actually love yourself and be yourself.

PURSUE!
Hi dudes!
So I'm slunched back on my laptop on this early(Ok for me 9am is early) tuesday morning getting ready to write a masterpiece with a highly unattractive and unappealing cold.
Alright so masterpiece wise I'm totally kidding except for the fact that writing is actually considered an art I don't think my blog is considered an art but HEY WHY NOT RIGHT?
And for the cold yeah it is very unattractive, speaking of which I did not sleep. Alright that is not true because I did sleep for a few good hours but I kept waking up and feeling all sick so it made me feel like I wasn't sleeping at all.
Fact. I did sleep because I had a very interesting dream about going to the Toronto fashion week and viewing one of the most amazing runway shows I have ever seen.
Fascinating.
Okay maybe not for you and you're probably like ''ok ,,, you're point?'' Yeah well I would highly love to respond to that but there was no point intended.
ANYWAYS, now I'm just sitting here in bed writing not even knowing if it's nice outside because I'm too lazy to actually open the blinds and look out.
I swear when I'm sick I feel like a little snail or hermit crab crawling back in a shell not even peaking out to the world.
That's my vision... And right now I'm actually imagining a hermit crab or snail hiding in their shell!
HAHAHAHA. And now I'm thinking of when I was younger and I use to touch snails eyes and they would hide in their shell.
Oh how childish, but really childhood was probably the best moments ever because we were so carefree and we never really realized how life can be a true pain in the ass!
Speaking of which if any one wants to rent their kids out to me I would highly enjoy trying to do a kid photoshoot to actually try shooting children because I never tried it before, just go on my FB page and send me an inbox and we can check that out! :)
Now exactly a week ago I did my first mens fashion photoshoot. It was awesome and the results are AMAZING! Seriously, I love it when you do a shoot and the shoot is exactly how you pictured it and you feel so amazing because you're so proud of your work!
And for a first mens shoot I was pretty nervous on the results, maybe cause I'm just so used to shooting women I never really thought about the masculine part of it.
I find for the fashion industry you must touch every part of fashion which means mens fashion! So I was really looking forward to it considering no guy really volunteers to be a model. (they're just so lame. OK KIDDING!)
But I found the perfect model for the shoot, one of my best friends, and amazing person, Jason. Now we created a mafia shoot in a hotel and seriously I'm laughing right now because Jason is such a positive, happy person so playing a mafia dude was quite funny because it was SO NOT HIS USUAL SELF! But he did a great job and I'm so happy I chose him as my model because I don't think anyone would of been able to pull it off as well as him!
Things in photography are starting to turn for me and like I previously said in other blogs, this is my year to shine. I believe this new photography college is going to help me shine and all these amazing opportunities are going to bring me so much more in life!
That's why I believe in pursuing your dreams because it might seem incredibly hard, but in the end everything you've worked for pays back in the end.
Enjoy,

And Monday rolls in another week!
Good Monday morning dudes!
Oh ... yeah Monday mornings.. BEURK! Time to get up, go to work and survive another intense week!
NOT ME! Okay so I really do wish I were working today and tomorrow but sadly I'm not... In a matter of fact I'm not working at all this week! FML on the fact that I have no clue how I'm going to survive without working and getting some money in the bank but I guess this happens to everyone in their lives to get into financial troubles! RIGHT?!
Well As you might know on the other hand I don't mind because I can focus on photography and produce some shoots for my college assignments and personal projects.
I have so many concepts flowing in my head, I'm just so very excited to see all of them come to life and I better start now if I want to see all of them come to live hahaha!
IT'S ALIVE!! (what the scientist of Frankenstein would say!) Yeah sorry I'm a hollywood kind of girl so everything that goes on in my head is like a movie coming alive so... yeah.
Anyways I also hope you had a great weekend! I sure did, my father and his girlfriend came down to visit and it felt good to finally have some kind of family down! I was starting to feel all rejected family wise it felt good to find each other back and just have fun like good old times!
We went boarding, then out for dinner, brunch, Vieux Port, movies.
Just a bunch of fun activities and it felt really good to not feel as alone as I really was!
Other than that I accomplished a great shoot with my model Shamila who is GORGEOUS! I have been dying to do a photo shoot of her because she's such a stunning young lady and exactly the kind of style I have been looking for!
With the help of the best makeup artist in the world, Sabrina (Makeup By Sabrina if you tend to check her out make sure to go like her FB page!) who made Shamila look like a flawless world class model!
I'm so happy to have great friends to help me out in creating amazing shoots and such to help my portfolio and get me into the world of fashion!
With my college, I'm just excited to see my work evolve into something more amazing and to be able to work in the studio and really see the world of photography and be amazed even more!
I got to say I'm very thankful in finding a passion who I adore so much and make it into my profession. Anyways, I better get going because I need to get all cleaned up before going for coffee and discussing my next shoot tomorrow!!

Chances Chances Chances!!
Hey dudes!!
So I'm again super sorry about being late and such on these blogs but seriously! I've been dying to write one after my last shoot which was last tuesday but I was so busy with college starting up and Valentines day and having my dad come down for the weekend it made it a little hard for me to write a blog!
Yes, I finally did my boudoir shoot and the pictures below will be from that shoot(Boudoir can be very revealing and because it wasn't a true model I didn't want to post all the pictures up so I showed only the portraits and the less revealing ones.)
I worked from 4 to 10pm and went to my place and waited for my makeup artist and model to arrive. HELLO COFFEE!
Coffee seriously felt like heaven, we started the makeup while I was doing test shoots with my camera and after 3 sets of changes we finished the shoot at 1:30am!
Not bad not bad,
now I must indulge myself in another huge pot of coffee and edit till 5am and send them in in the morning.
Yes I indeed said pot of coffee, if I had a barrel it would of been a barrel of coffee, and that there would of been over heaven.
AND THEN I PRETTY MUCH SLEPT ALL DAY! As much as I would of loved to ride, I just couldn't, my muscles, brain and attention span did not quite make the cut of staying energized in snowboarding. So I stayed home, watched a weird movie with the boyfriend and fell asleep all excited for college!
NOW. LET ME JUST TELL YOU COLLEGE IS AMAZING!
Finally I lay my feet in my dream college: Private photography college, and let me tell you it is amazing!
No basic courses people! All straight courses about photography and I fell in love with the place! Not to mention access to the studios etc! I'm so excited to go out on my first assignment (in which I'm preparing right at this moment)
One thing I'm most excited is to be able to see myself get better at photography! I mean I've been reading books and listening to other photographers but now that I will be in the studio, learning every aspect of this amazing career and passion and to be able to work with all these cool tools is just going to be amazing and make me the best photographer out there!
Well... I hope :P
The only way to make a dream come true is if you make it priority and you never stop trying. Oh and taking chances.
For example biggest chance: Dropping out of college.
What it gave me: The chance to get into an amazing new college just about photography.
I believe you need to take chances to survive to this unreal hard world we live in. So many people(too much) just follow the basic path to be safe but in reality you need to live a little and take chances because if you don't take chances you will never really succeed in what you actually want to be. For example, my passion is photography, I have no plan B. I know I will go far in photography and I have to go full on, take chances and go far because if I don't I will never go as far as I want to.
I like to set my goals super high so I will use my maximum strength in reaching what I want.
If people take chances and start to live a little more outside their comfort zone, they will see how amazing life can be and how many happy moments they will live through!
Any how, I must leave now spending the night with the family who are down to visit and I need to get ready for a shoot tomorrow!

Just a spring out?
Good Monday morning dudes!
As you all are probably heading out for work(or are already there) I'm in bed drinking tea writing a blog all cozy!
To be honest I would much rather be working right now and finishing around 4 or 5 instead of STARTING work at 4 and finishing at 10...
But oh well, only for this week and I must stand it considering it's better than having 0 hours right?!
BUT ANYWAYS side to the fact, I hope you guys had a great weekend! It was actually super nice here on saturday as I strolled around Montreal with my camera and boyfriend.
I never knew how nice Montreal really is,
NO OFFENSE.
It's a beautiful city, walking around Vieux Port and then making our way towards Sainte-Catherine street, looking at all the nice stores and city life! The problem is, I find most people there have attitude adjustment problems -__- .
Just because I'm from Toronto doesn't mean I suck. But I am aware that not everyone is like that! Actually we met this homeless person that was super nice which my boyfriend generously gave a dollar(come on we would of given more but I only had debit and well he only had a dollar change) But hey! It's better than nothing!
Other than that we visited this beautiful dead mall by the HYAT. Seriously, you walk in and there's barely life, stores but the architecture and the way it was beautifully decorated made it look so sophisticated and ''rich'' ! We took the escalator down and watched the fountain shoot up super high and it was actually pretty entertaining.
Legit, fountains are awesome, next time you see one just stare at it, it's awesome.
(weird)
Then we slowly made our way back to Laval because I had an amazing dinner with work friends to celebrate my lovely friends birthday!
I guess that day made me realize a few things. Perhaps the fact of falling in love again, considering I've been with this guy for only a month(about). I was a little iffy on the fact of falling back into a relationship but decided to just do it, to take a chance and it led me to complete happiness and it just seems my life got a bit brighter!
Even my friends who are so proud of me and like him, and tell me they are so happy for me, it's a new chapter in my life, 2013 is a positive year I think.
The other thing I realized is how much the little things count in life to make you happy. Just the fact that I spent the day out in the city instead of either snowboarding or doing the usual boring rooting(over and over) I decided to go out and do something else, and it felt so good! Sure we just walked around did nothing but walk and talk but it was awesome, it made me shine inside out and I would do it over and over again!
Maybe it's cause of the fact that it's Valentines day and I'm feeling highly romantic this week, or just simply the fact that doing a little change up in the usual life is making me spring out!
Oh.. OR maybe it's the fact of me watching the Grammys yesterday falling in love with Katy Perry's dress! Or Rihanna's incredible performance with Damian Marley for the Bob Marley tribute! :P
Speaking of which I hope you guys watched it, it was amazing.
If not I highly recommend you youtube it asap!
Either way, I will let you back to work, or school... Or whatever you guys were about to do! Enjoy these photos I took in Montreal!

A taste of fashion
Hey dudes!
So yeah... As you know this week is Montreal Fashion week, and like I said in a previous blogg I was invited to the second day for a nice cocktail and 5 fashion shows and it was all exclusive.
It was yesterday and let me tell you it felt like a movie.
How so you may ask?!!
Well lets just say I get there, I'm surrounded by celebrities and very high end fashion designers and people who work in the fashion industry, free champagne and red wine, surrounded by photographers snapping pictures of everything,,, attending high end fashion shows FRONT ROW oh and, yeah bumping into Will Smith while heading towards the ladies room.
YES WILL SMITH. I still can't believe it!
Now rewind to the beginning of my day:
I woke up totally dead from the day before getting ready for this unprepared photo shoot that was only in a couple of hours. Let's just say trying to create a concept for a shoot that was in about two hours is really HARD to do! But hey, I'm the kind of girl that likes difficult tasks and being challenged so this was actually pretty typical for me.
Seeing my internet bill on the table knowing I was late to pay tho... Yeah that made me jump, drive to the bank, pay and loose an extra hour of thinking for a concept.
BUT NO FEAR NO FEAR PEOPLE! I came through! I wanted to create a vintage concept! So I did, I had this beautiful dress(actually my dads girlfriends dress) that she lent to me for a new years Casablanca party I didn't attend(Come on I found a way better party) that fit the shoot and I had my GORGEOUS model wear it and go on my nice couch and did a photo session there!
Thank you to Sabrina Baldassare, who was my makeup artist who did a magnificent job on her eyes that made it more vintage!
So we took a few frames and I decided to let the light in from my window and it made cool halos in the picture which I LOVED. LITERALLY SO DREAMY WOOT!
After the shoot was done I was now on a straight schedule to get ready for my insane night in Montreal!
Arriving at Arsenal in Montreal for the Cocktail and fashion shows:
UH HELLO WORLD! This is where I belong, seeing all these people dressed up in these odd but very fashionable outfits!! It was like a Alex world! I was in heaven, true heaven. Champagne in hand I strolled around staring at the photographers, meeting very famous and respected people in the fashion world, attending fashion shows. WOW.
I came to realize how much I want to become a fashion photographer.. I mean I knew this is what I wanted to do but, being in the middle of an amazing Fashion night, just made me realize how much I belong there and how much I want it.
It kind of gave me a taste of the real world of fashion and now I'm craving more and more!
Oh .. And then...
I race to the bathroom running into someone and I look up and see WILL SMITH.
Uh HELLO?! THE WILL SMITH!!
It was like in those movies when you randomly run into your idol and your like woah.
That was me, oh little me sporting a LBD in platforms shaking eyes wide open on the fact that Will Smith was indeed 2inches away and ACTUALLY TALKING TO ME!
Enough said, must keep cool, and I ran into the bathroom, called my boyfriend to tell him everything!
Yeah last night was the best night of my life so far. I think so many bad things happened to me in 2012 that destiny has led me to good things in 2013! Seriously, 2013 is my year to shine in the fashion industry, I'm super excited to be able to work with amazing people, go to an amazing photography college and go further and further in my career!
This was a glimpse of what I'm going to be in 10years.
Hopefully, :)
Here are some photos from my shoot yesterday:)
Enjoy,

Enjoy,

A little touch of Whistler in Quebec!
Hey dudes!
HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT WEEKEND SO FAR!
I am, started last night when my boyfriend and I got LOST trying to find my friends house to get him and go to Starbucks. We both have major orientation problems so put the two of us in a Mazda 3 trying to find my friends house, missing the autoroute exit and ending up in some weird place I had no clue existed! Well at least I was with a strong man so I didn't have to worry about maybe getting raped or something....
We finally found his house tho! and had a great time talking about the weirdest things on the planet at Starbucks, and then after droping my friend back home we ordered delivery pizza(from Pizza Pizza which is the best place BTW.) having some red wine and watching old comedy movies.
BEST FRIDAY NIGHT EVER HELLO!
Sometimes you don't always have to go out, sometimes just spending time at home treating yourself right is just the way to spend a good weekend night!
And then Saturday was awaken and I had to hurry up to Saint-Sauveur to take some pictures of the BMW challenge! Oh and let me tell you: WHAT A PRODUCTIVE DAY!
Starts off with me being awesome taking awesome pictures cause yeah I'm just awesome, then riding with my SUPER awesome friend, then deciding it's too cold and go to my local awesome boardshop PRFO, then deciding to go hike some AWESOME mountain. And then ending up in a coffee shop ordering a coffee named Whistler which had a huge mountain of whip cream that I took off cause I hate whip cream. (Basically it was a normal coffee, why it was named Whistler? Because of the whip. Even tho I don't like whip I had to order it cause it was named Whistler) why? cause I'm awesome.
So now to compensate on the fact that I'm a die hard Starbucks fan and for once I went to some random coffee shop up north, I felt bad and now I'm in Starbucks drinking my usual Venti mocha light!
Mucho love me amigo!
So yeah now I'm editing my pictures and spending another quiet saturday night away from the clubs and the bar, but next week my friends I promise I will go out. Well I kind of have to because we are celebrating my friends birthday.
Tired as I am right now from my huge day I think tonight is going to be an early night, well also from the fact that I have to wake up early again to go take pictures of the last day of the BMW challenge and then, monday I can sleep in ;)
Yet... I probably won't because I have so much to do. Blaaaaaaaahhhhh if only I could get one day where I'm doing absolutely nothing where I can just go to the spa, and book a nice therapeutic massage to help my cripple back who is incredibly hurting.
I feel like an old lady that can barely move her back. Oh god.
So anyways, honestly folks, there's no moral to this blog, I just write to write because I'm so dead bored right now and I thought explaining my day would be very interesting for you guys.
Ha. Not.
anyways here are some pictures I took earlier today hope you enjoy them and the rest will be on my FB page!
