Hey dudes!!
So I'm again super sorry about being late and such on these blogs but seriously! I've been dying to write one after my last shoot which was last tuesday but I was so busy with college starting up and Valentines day and having my dad come down for the weekend it made it a little hard for me to write a blog!
Yes, I finally did my boudoir shoot and the pictures below will be from that shoot(Boudoir can be very revealing and because it wasn't a true model I didn't want to post all the pictures up so I showed only the portraits and the less revealing ones.)
I worked from 4 to 10pm and went to my place and waited for my makeup artist and model to arrive. HELLO COFFEE!
Coffee seriously felt like heaven, we started the makeup while I was doing test shoots with my camera and after 3 sets of changes we finished the shoot at 1:30am!
Not bad not bad,
now I must indulge myself in another huge pot of coffee and edit till 5am and send them in in the morning.
Yes I indeed said pot of coffee, if I had a barrel it would of been a barrel of coffee, and that there would of been over heaven.
AND THEN I PRETTY MUCH SLEPT ALL DAY! As much as I would of loved to ride, I just couldn't, my muscles, brain and attention span did not quite make the cut of staying energized in snowboarding. So I stayed home, watched a weird movie with the boyfriend and fell asleep all excited for college!
NOW. LET ME JUST TELL YOU COLLEGE IS AMAZING!
Finally I lay my feet in my dream college: Private photography college, and let me tell you it is amazing!
No basic courses people! All straight courses about photography and I fell in love with the place! Not to mention access to the studios etc! I'm so excited to go out on my first assignment (in which I'm preparing right at this moment)
One thing I'm most excited is to be able to see myself get better at photography! I mean I've been reading books and listening to other photographers but now that I will be in the studio, learning every aspect of this amazing career and passion and to be able to work with all these cool tools is just going to be amazing and make me the best photographer out there!
Well... I hope :P
The only way to make a dream come true is if you make it priority and you never stop trying. Oh and taking chances.
For example biggest chance: Dropping out of college.
What it gave me: The chance to get into an amazing new college just about photography.
I believe you need to take chances to survive to this unreal hard world we live in. So many people(too much) just follow the basic path to be safe but in reality you need to live a little and take chances because if you don't take chances you will never really succeed in what you actually want to be. For example, my passion is photography, I have no plan B. I know I will go far in photography and I have to go full on, take chances and go far because if I don't I will never go as far as I want to.
I like to set my goals super high so I will use my maximum strength in reaching what I want.
If people take chances and start to live a little more outside their comfort zone, they will see how amazing life can be and how many happy moments they will live through!
Any how, I must leave now spending the night with the family who are down to visit and I need to get ready for a shoot tomorrow!
Enjoy,
