Be yourself

Hey dudes!

So I hope everyone is having a splendid week, I just survived 6 hours of photoshop Lightroom so my eyes are kind of bulging out of my sockets but you know, what would you not do for your passion right?!

I love it even tho sometimes it can be a hassle, following your dreams is a total hassle itself but I'm crazy enough to do it so!
Oh and there's a storm right now. Okay well again I don't know if it's actually storming right now but last time I was outside it was snowing pretty bad... Now I'm like snuggled in bed with all blinds shut with my little Feng Shui (I really don't know if that's how you spell it but you know what I mean) floor lamp and a bowl of pop corn beside me.

So basically I was there reading an article in NY Times and that's when a sudden flash back started creeping my mind. The past, and thoughts about how I got this far.
Like I mean I've met so many people in my whole life that all they wanted to do was try and make everyone else happy and not be themselves and try to be liked by everyone.
I actually looked up to people like that creating a whole new self thinking to myself people will like me if I do right cautious decisions about life and that I have a right group of perfect friends, a perfect boyfriend, a nice steady lifestyle.

But seriously in their minds it was like out of those episodes of desperate house wives. Practically!
I mean I knew so many people during my years of high school who thought the perfect life was what your parents intended you to have; School, college, get married, good steady job, kids etc.
So basically those people grew their lives without thinking of what they really wanted to do.

I'm going to ask you all this simple question: What do you want to be?

A doctor, a musician, a teacher?! ANYTHING. Just what did you intentionally always wanted to become?

Whatever you wanted to become should still be the thing you should become. Why? Cause it's you. Only you, because people deserve to be themselves and feel loved by who they want to be.

So what if you're 35 and you are working at some office that you hate! You wanted to become a teacher and teach a bunch of kids a certain subject that you love?! GO FOR IT!

I remember reading a poem explaining how age doesn't matter(I honestly did read a poem about it but I really don't remember by who it was and when I read it, Clearly I have bad memory skills).

What I'm trying to say is that the whole reason why you came to this world was to not follow everyone else and blend in and just be liked by everyone and do everything people want you to do.
The reason you came to this world is to be yourself and show the world something extraordinary and be proud and to stand out.
By standing out and doing what you actually want to be, or being who you really are is when you will meet the most amazing people and the people who truly love you and cherish for you.

There's always time to change who you are and to become who you really want to be. Now I know this is corny but it's true, you need to believe in yourself in order to actually love yourself and be yourself.
