Pursuit of happiness.

Hey guys!!

This morning as I was working today a pretty chill dude came up to me and started talking to me knowing I was taking pictures and knew about my photography page.
As we talked he told me how good of a photographer I was and that he admires my work!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, doesn't that feel good? How we all love getting compliments!
It really did make my day!

But what really got me was when he asked me « What made you want to become a photographer ? »
That question right there, I remember when I was younger and I asked my dad « What made you want to become a pilot? » and so on with the other members of my family.
It seems like a simple question but really it's quite complicated! I kind of stood there and thought of it myself.
I told him that it was always a passion for me, I always had my little digital camera with me when I was with friends and my facebook profile would always have new photos every day. I guess last summer, when I got my Rebel I realized I could really do this for a living.

The thing is, being a photographer is a hard choice. You need to be certain, just like any art career. It's so hard to get known and to go far that you need to strive and always be on top and testing your own skills. There's so many other photographers that you need to create your own style, and stand up for your art.
I remember a few months back I was re thinking my idea of becoming a prof photographer because of all the risks and challenges. But I now tell myself I can do it, it's my passion and I will go all the way to pursue my happiness.

What I'm trying to explain is that everyone needs to follow their passion in life to be happy. It's like a law that most people ignore but shouldn't. If you just stop, what's the point? I believe God gave everyone something to live for, and that one thing is a passion.
We shouldn't be scared to go all the way and take chances on things, cause life is REALLY short for being careful!!!!
Life is meant to be all crazy, and do stunts we normally wouldn't do.
Like I said, my passion is photography, and I'm going to go all the way and proove to myself that I can do this!

To finish off, here are some pictures I took today with my friends.

Enjoy,
