When Artists Collied

Hey guys!!

Hope you all had a good weekend! I had a very busy one myself!
Friday after college I raced down to the airport to grab a flight to Toronto for a fashion shoot on the Saturday morning and also to visit my dear grandma I love so much.

Then Sunday morning I woke up super early to take another flight back home to Montreal!
And then Sunday I stayed in pjs, Netflixed with my Boyfriend, made a fort in my living room and ordered Chinese takeout and went to bed early.

So as you might of suspected my weekend ROCKED!
And now let the week restart and go back to our normal lives eager to wait what's going to happen for the following weekend!
On my part I hope finishing my photography project I'm creating right now if only I get some models to actually want to shoot! It's so hard sometimes to find good reliable models so hopefully luck lucks out with me and I get to finish it this weekend!

So now I just wanted to get back to the photoshoot I had on Saturday. It was by far probably one of my best photoshoots I have ever done in my whole life. Why?! Because first of all with all the new knowledge I have over photography I'm getting a lot more new technic in, and the models were amazing! Also the concept I wanted worked out perfectly and I was so happy of the results.
I find in a successful shoot, you have to be on time, everything organized, good models and a good crew. I had all that saturday it was amazing! The couple who were modelling were amazing and had a super sophisticated yet punchy charm which made the photos look alive and more appealing.

The whole concept was to reproduce the 60s by doing a little fashion twist to it looking back to the old 60s fashion trends. Because I had a couple, I could of focused and give the female fashion trends as much as the male fashion trends which is so much more interesting on my part I find.

After the shoot we headed back to the models house and had some good coffee considering it was FREEZING. And seriously, I thought Montreal always had the coldest weather... Hey I gotta say Toronto was pretty much right equal to Montreal that day!
I met her mother which was a charming and unforgettable moment. She loves to paint and showed me all her paintings and how she loved art etc. I saw her beautiful aura right there and then as we talked and she told me the beautiful story of how she met the love of her life, her husband.

I was amazed and yet intrigued. It's amazing how artists communicate through words but with such emotion. We understood each other and it was just an amazing chemistry of two artists talking about the world of things sitting there sipping coffee and enjoying the after shoot we just experienced.

It did enlightened my weekend and even my life, I even told them to come back to Montreal sometime to come visit, hopefully they do!

Now I must leave now and get ready for work but hopefully you guys all have a fantastic week and I will reach back to you soon!

Enjoy,
