Well this week is a big week for me! (Okay well not really week.. More like long weekend and week put together!)
With my fashion editorial shoot Saturday morning (omg waking up early, getting down to the city and shooting was quite painful considering I woke up at 6 every morning and that I was kind of looking forward in relaxing and having a late morning) ALTHOUGH it was still pretty awesome because I find that there is no time to not take pictures. The sun was shinning through my studio as my team were preparing and even tho I was quite tired it was fun and I loved it!
So with that, and being an assistant at a wedding convention for my favourite wedding photographer(Beautifoto, if you have not checked him out on FB you should.) which was today and the last day tomorrow(I'm in bed and my feet are aching from standing in heels all day but hey I missed selling and talking to people so it felt good, and the day passed fast! Really fast which is quite surprising! Watching the whole convention made me dream about having my own wedding one day.. And it was so cute watching all the cute fiancees walking by so happy!
For my break I couldn't help but walk down the aisles and having the people give me free stuff even tho I wasn't a bride to be(HAHA I signed up for a contest for a honey moon to Paris and I made people believe that my ring was being resized so that I could get a bunch of free knickknacks.) I hope those people don't see me working at the booth tomorrow or... oops!
But oh well, seriously, I'm a girl and girls do that, we like pretty things and why not get free things!?
AND WITH THAT COMES MONTREAL FASHION WEEK! Which starts tuesday so I really don't have a day off considering tomorrow is Monday and I will be at the wedding convention!
But hey it's all good because I have been waiting for MFW since last february so honestly I am so excited!
As much as I can get shy around fashion people I told myself that I will give out my cards and try and get my name out there! And I will oh I will for sure!
I have to, honestly.
So I won't have a easy week also considering I have college thursday and friday to top it off!
But again, it will be exciting!
And from all the depressing emotions who are pouring into me lately(like honestly I don't get it because usually I'm super happy and these days I've been depressed, watery eyes for nothing and just feeling crappy) I think a busy week like this will make my emotions go away(alright well I really sure hope it does because I can't take it anymore!)
But let me just tell you my depresses(so not a word I think) quickly went away (well not completely but a huge part) when I got home from Montreal and saw a little cute note my boyfriend wrote to me with a kinder surprise egg. OMG CUTE I KNOW RIGHT?! Seriously, and from the fact that lately I've been going through financial problems and opening my fridge finding out my boyfriend stocked up my fridge with food INCLUDING some sushi for dinner?! Oh hell my eye started watering..
I think that is the nicest thing anyone has done for me. By far.
And I feel bad in a way but it was so nice, and thoughtful. And not seeing him at all this weekend makes me miss him even more!
Like some people say ''You need to catch the right fish in the sea'' Well I did. I really did, and I'm so happy to have found him.
It also made me realize in a way how lucky and far I have came since last year. Last year I was dating a schmuck, I was no where near my dream in photography and I was quite sad! Now I have a caring, amazing boyfriend, my career is slowly working its way up, I have a caring family, great friends!
My life is finally shaping into what I have dreamed a few years back. And so much more. And this is just the beginning.
Maybe I feel depressed these days, but it's just temporary, and the best thing for me right now is to stay surrounded by loving and caring people and to focus on my art.
