So Montreal Fashion week has officially ended and as much I wish it didn't, it feels good to sleep in and relax for a bit!
I swear it was like non stop, Traveling all over MTL going to conferences, to amazing shows! It was like a dream in a way, to be a part of that weeks full excitement.
It is my first Fashion week! (Well full fashion week, considering I have been to the last february show but only one night) and I cannot wait for the next one!

So yeah, and sorry about not writing a blog the Saturday morning (Following up MFW) I was so tired I was sick all day and didn't do much to be quite honest.
So here I am this morning drinking some warm coffee slowly waking up to a nice working at home kind of day and later on hitting the gym to loose a few calories!
Getting back to last week, Thursday and Friday were too show days at l'Arsenal in which it was my chance to shine and give out my cards. It was very intimidating at the beginning because it is truly my dream career and knowing no one at the event and having to go up to complete strangers alone and to present myself well.... It was quite nerve-racking!
I think the thing that got me more nervous was the fact that I HAD to give a good image and talk to people that I might be working with in the near future and that have a step into the fashion industry! It stressed me out so much I was shaking and just the fact that these people are amazing I kept telling myself how I need to sell myself out and well... Hopefully that's what I did!
My ice breaker was a very nice mother and daughter and then it just broke loose, I started talking to people, handing out my cards and trying to make a name of myself.
It was a thrilling experience, meeting people in my dream and future industry and to be able to have a nice conversation with them!
Some of them gave me advice and most of them admired my determination in coming here this week and approaching people!
It was so much fun and let me tell you everyone was so warming and I think that's what I needed. Warm people to help me inspire me and continue in this industry and to make my dream come true!
During the shows, I got to sit front row during a couple of shows which was hallucinating and I even got a present from NISSE(One of my favourite Montreal based designers) and guess what it was?! A SCARF! (FYI. Scarves are my favourite accessory of all time, I literally have a million so it was pretty awesome getting a nice scarf!)
My favourite presentation of Thursday night I am going to have to go with Nisse(Not because I got a gift) But because I found it was very sophisticated, soft and beautiful! It is definitely my style of clothing and I loved the show, every piece really did made me dream!
And then Friday night it was obviously Caroline Constas! It was a real treat having a NY based designer present her line in Montreal and that I was there to see the whole thing!
And just a little FYI, every time a model walked down the runway with one of her pieces I was amazed, wowed out and completely mesmerized! It was amazing. Especially the yellow raincoat I was like OMG I WANT IT!
Maybe one day I will get to meet her in person and perhaps do work with her... Would be pretty cool and who knows where I will be in 2 or 3 years from now!
Now I just need to keep working on getting my name out there and to focus on graduating(APRIL 4TH 2014!!!!) Oh and getting ready for my half year expo which is ...THIS THURSDAY!
Note to self: I really need to start doing my passe partouts for the expo!
