Hey dudes!
So as I promised on my FB page, I would be writing a blog today!
I have been so busy with school and photo projects that I haven't had my mind up to just sitting down and writing a blog. Crazy as it seems, it's actually kind of hard to write a blog!
Okay so maybe not incredibly hard, but when you have no inspiration whatsoever it's hard, trust me.
So, to start things off, I had an amazing and SUPER ROMANTIC couples shoot Sunday morning and it was aaaaaaawesome!
Cause you know, if you haven't noticed I haven't got to taking pictures in a while now, and being the proud owner of a 24-70mm f2.8 (that I just got a couple of weeks ago) I WAS EAGER TO TRY IT OUT! OMG I KNOW RIGHT?!
Seriously, I haven't had the chance to actually use it for a photoshoot until last Sunday!
Of course I took some cute little pictures(and no there wasn't any selfies.... Ok ... Maybe one or two...) BUT I haven't actually had the chance to use it and let me just tell you after the shoot Sunday I couldn't wait to go edit them and see the magic of my lens!
And clearly it shows!
ALSO, not to mention I got to photograph one of the cutest couples ever! They were so genuine, sociable, and it was a blast! It's always fun seeing your models(in this case, couple) arrive early, super excited and giving you so much energy during the shoot.
I think that's one of the biggest things I love about shooting, and the most important part, having models who love to be a model!
So after that shoot,
my boyfriend suggested we end our beautiful sunny Sunday by going to Quartier Dix30, to go visit Lollipops Paris and go walk around and go for dinner!
Okay so right there you're probably like oh my god, spend a sunny day at a shopping centre.....
NO SERIOUSLY LISTEN TO ME! Or I should say READ ME: Quartier dix30 is outdoors (ok so obviously the stores are buildings) but the whole scenery is amazing, with fountains outside, and that modern architecture. It's cool to just sit outside and watch people pass by! And the restaurants all have beautiful patios(even rooftop patios) and it's a great place to go!
Well... Maybe not in the winter when there's like 5ft of snow outside but still!
So we went, and I got to use my 100$ gift certificate from Lollipops Paris for when I photographed their store opening with Efashionista! AND THEY REMEMBERED ME! They even follow me on Twitter, Instagram and FB!
It's awesome, and they are so nice! Honestly, their hospitality is the best! AND THE STUFF THEY SELL?!!
The cutest accessory store in the world! I got the chance to get a new wallet(I was so due for a new one) a bracelet and 2 pairs of earrings! So it was a nice visit, and again, the sales associate there was a charm! A true Lolligirl as they say!
NOTE TO ALL YOU FASHIONISTAS: Go visit Lollipops Paris in Quartier dix30(it's on front of the Apple store) because it's worth it!
And well then the week started again! And then I got swarmed with a bunch of projects and such and now I'm just drowning with a head full of ideas trying to create a concept for a school project next week!
And for this weekend? Well it's my birthday on Sunday(in which they announce 11 degrees and rain -__- ) But the Saturday I will be on set for a photoshoot with The Black Sheep Fashion and then my birthday dinner at Rockaberries in which I'm super stoked in eating a truffle cake!
So Yeah, now I must go back to studying and creating concepts because I am SO FAR BEHIND! As usual. Oops.
Enjoy,
